Chalk the Block will be launching virtually on Saturday, October 10th, 2020
Due to the global pandemic, Chalk the Block is 100% virtual with all content available on ChalktheBlock.com and on our Chalk the Block Facebook page.
All vendor profiles can be found at Virtual Vendor Marketplace. Due to the nature of the event, no in person vendors or food trucks will be available.
Chalk the Block will still feature the coveted chalk art competition, showcasing professional, emerging, and student artists. An online marketplace, and virtual musical performances will also be available through Chalktheblock.com. Chalk and Coloring pages will also be distributed beforehand at area Parks and Rec food distribution centers
Artists for the competition are selected by a panel through a competitive application process weeks before the event.
The Chalk art completion will be exclusively streamed through our website Chalktheblock.com. The community is encouraged to safely chalk in their residence and upload pictures to our Facebook page.
